Now I maaaay be late but Miguel Atwood-Ferguson & Carlos Nino have been orchestrating a series of classical Dilla tributes produced tracks that sound like beautiful walks to the sun
its a great honor for someone to actually reconstruct the MPC pad hits into actual notes to be played by an orchestra perfect music to wake up 2.
Check out the video of musicians laying down the scratch track for the strings and horns on "Fall In Love" Remember that on Feb. 22nd in LA there will be a performance for the Suite for Ma Dukes, part of Mochilla’s “Timeless” concert series. It Features a 30 plus piece orchestra w/ special guest DJ sets from J Rocc and DJ House Shoes!!!!
